We will provide you with an accurate quote based on your measurements and chosen blinds which is valid for 7 days.

Once your blinds are ready, we’ll contact you to schedule a fitting date that works for you.

Pricing and Payment

All our blinds are made to measure therefore we cannot provide you with an accurate quotation over the phone. However, if you book an appointment with one of our advisors, they will come and measure up, and will be able to provide you with a quote. The average appointment times will vary from 30 mins to 60 mins depending on what you require.

A deposit of up to 50% will be required when you place your order before we commence to manufacture your order.

We accept payments via PayPal or Bank Transfer ONLY. Cheque payments – We DO NOT accept cheques.

Bank Transfer details – We accept this method of payment. Please state your first line of address in the reference.

All our blinds are made to measure. Your blinds are made just for you to the exact measurements of your home or office. Once you have received your Quotation from one of our team and are happy to go ahead, we take a minimum of 50% deposit on all other blind types to allow the order to go into production

The balance is due on the day of fitting.

Fitting and Installation

Your blinds will be ready between 7-14 working days once the order has been placed. Your advisor will arrange a time and date to fit your blinds when you place your order.

Depending on which type of blind you order, our blinds can take anything between one week and four weeks to manufacture and fit. This varies at different times of the year as demand changes.

You can rearrange the fitting by contacting our customer service team and there is no cost to rearrange.

Before our Blinds World Team arrive for fitting, please clear the window area and If you are able to take your old blinds down, then that would be a great help and speeds up the installation time. If, however you’re unable to take them down beforehand then our team will be happy to do this.

Somebody needs to be present, if you’re unable to be there yourself then a friend, neighbour or relative is fine as long as they’re over the age of 18 and can pay the balance on your behalf.

We can provide a general quote by telephone, provided we have the dimensions of your windows. However, a true estimate can only be offered with a free in-home consultation, once all material and design considerations have been estimated and the homeowner has chosen the actual window treatment. The estimated phone price can be more or less than the actual price, once our sales representative has presented the best options for your window coverings.

Window Blinds

Yes, all our blinds are child safe. As a result of British Blind & Shutter Association (BBSA) legislation introduced in early 2014, the blind industry has altered its products to ensure that any blind featuring a hazardous looped cord is supplied with a child safety device. This device always keeps any looped cord tensioned preventing strangulation. There are also restrictions on the length of the cord too. Yes certainly, upon your home consultation we bring a catalogue that has hundreds of different samples and fabrics for each blind type. We will be happy to chat through your options and give you prices on whichever blinds you require.

We are so confident in our work and quality of our product; we offer a 12 month Guarantee on all our blinds. This means that we will cover all the parts and material which make up your blind. As well as, arranging a replacement like for like, if an issue occurs.

No, unfortunately there are no washable fabric blinds, we do recommend washing your blinds. Other than cleaning them with a sponge and mild detergent and water solution.

If the blinds were made and supplied by us, then we will repair or replace them if they are still in warranty. As blinds are component based, it’s often more cost effective to replace the mechanism and in some cases the whole blind. We don’t repair blinds supplied by any other company only because our components may not be compatible with other components and vice versa.

Yes, you can, but it’s not usually recommended. Most stores will not be held liable if your custom window coverings do not fit due to imprecise measurements that you have done yourself. Because the products are custom-made to your home’s specifications, they cannot be returned. However, if you feel that you would rather measure yourself, be sure and use a sturdy, metal tape measure. Cloth tapes can stretch, and yardsticks are usually not long enough. Also, be sure to measure your windows at least twice and confirm your measurements with your spouse or a friend. We offer a free measurement service with all our blinds and home consultation.

We can usually match your existing window coverings without a problem. We work with many different manufacturers and demand the same level of service with each and every one.
